"When I met Emily my body was in "sad" shape. Crying out for help.
I am 82 years old. When I turned 80, up until then I celebrated birthdays with minimal health issues. Suddenly, my weight creeped up on me and I was diagnosed with Diabetes. Still, nothing I couldn't handle. Then, I began to fall. I am a tripper. First I fell tripping over a stairstep. Second, a package from the mail got caught on the door handle when carrying it in the house. I wanted to keep walking, but the door handle had its own idea for me, and down I went. I next tripped over the threshold of my front door, then the threshold of the back door, and lastly in the garage. Each fall I had to call the emergency squad. My knees took the brunt of my falls and my legs became very weak, and my balance was nowhere to be found. Needless to say, I needed help.
In walked Emily. I was extremely confident in her ability to help me regain my strength and balance. She has a very professional approach to the repetitive strength building exercises to get my strength back. Every visit she has new equipment to keep therapy interesting and fun. Never hear the word "fun" in exercising too much. She has a plan of care scheduled for me and it's followed. I am now capable of enjoying my life with the knowledge of Emily's expertise training of her patients.
